Petitioning the Lord: Healing for Brock Latham.

24/7HEALING PRAYER VIGIL SIGN-UP BLOG:

After surgery, radiation, chemo, and the 'experimental' pill have failed, it's time to CRY OUT TO CHRIST FOR VICTORY.

WHAT?:We are asking for at least 48 people to pray in 30 minute intervals, every day.

WHO?:People committed to praying every day during their 30 minute time. One timers are welcome to post a prayer or email me. Remember to post your name and email address.

HOW LONG?: Until Brock is completely restored and victory has come. Extreme times require extreme measures. WE HOPE TO KEEP THIS GOING UNTIL GOD RELEASES US. In other words, 30 minute intervals means a person takes 5-5:30AM every morning. Several people have signed-up for one time, one day, 30 minute slots and that's great...keep it going! However, please sign-up, only if you are committed to pray your 30 minute slot everyday.

OPEN TIMES:

PRAYING PROBLEMS: If 30 minutes of praying seems hard for you, don't beat yourself up...no biggie... put on a worship CD, get on your knees and close your eyes and go 30 seconds, it doesn't matter. Click: Need help to pray? for a little jumpstarter. Before you know it, you'll have gone way over 30 seconds to 1 minute. Build off of that... but take it slow at first and be happy. God enjoys u. Jump in to the river of God's delight.

And may we see and savor the glory of God!

"All Brock's days are written in the book."(My paraphrase.) I ask and trust the Most High God to minister Life to Brock Latham. I acknowledge that all his days are appointed by God and written in the book and that nothing by any means can steal his life, I also acknowledge that Brock is an heir of Life itself and an heir of slavation and that by no means can anything contrary to the covenant of Life and Peace be ministered to him. I also trust that everything spoken or written concerning Brock that is contrary to the covenant of Peace purchased for him by the blood of Jesus has to bow at that Name that is above every other name, be removed and cast aside, that Brock be cleansed by that same blood of anything contrary to it and that only life remain. And now, according to Him who does exceedinly abundantly above all that we ask or think (according to that power that works within us) be glory in the church through Christ Jesus in Brock Lathams's life. Lord let Brock be a signpost of your glory, love and power and we thank you and give you all the praise!!

Psalm 121:1-2

Temptations are great right now.

Think of cancer as bigger than God.
To rest our hope in oncologists, or chemicals, radiation or even methods of prayer.
Temptations to let our hope rise or fall on the statistics, or prognoses.

As believers in the triune God, our hope is in the LORD Jesus Christ. We trust Him with you at this time. And we say with King David and you, 'Where does my help come from........? My help comes from the Lord, who created the heavens and the earth'.

Our prayers are with you and as I read your prayer request I felt like the Lord said to pray Ps 103

So I will do this :

Bless the Lord , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all thine iniquities, who healeth all the diseases:, who REDEEMETH THY LIFE FROM DESTRUCTION of cancer, who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies. Ect. Read the rest of Ps 103.

We bless you Lord and remember ALL your benefits. And on your behalf I will take communion, our covenant meal that reminds us of the new covenant that Jesus made possible for us. Thank you Jesus.
Bless you, Doris Clark

Prayer Time: 10:30-11:00pm everyday
I pray everyday, throughout the entire day for Brock and his sweet mom & dad and sisters, I will continue to do so, until the miracle of God's love and grace have healed Brock completely !!

Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all the joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Mark 11:22-24
"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

Love ya tons !!!

1 Corithians 1:9-11
9.Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 10.He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, 11.as you help us by your prayers. Hi Wes,

The oddest thing just happened.... I got on the Internet to check my email and I received an email from my aunt, Sherry Bowman, in Albany for a pray request for your nephew. I started reading and noticed the last name "Latham" I had to remember where I knew that name from.
I read on and finally figured it out.

I had your mother as a kindergarten teacher and you were also in my class from kindergarten to second grade in Throckmorton. It is such a small world!

My maiden name was Amy Shelton, I now live in Mulvane Kansas, but travel to Albany a couple times a year.

Please let your family know that you all, especially Brock are in my thoughts and prayers.

MIRACLES--SPEAK TO YOUR MOUNTAIN

YOUR MOUNTAIN IS ANY PROBLEM YOU ARE FACING. ADDRESS IT WITH AUTHORITY AND COMMAND IT TO MOVE IN JESUS NAME.

Every mountain is a servant to your faith. It must obey.
Champions talk to their mountains.

Mark 11:23 "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou moved and be cast into the sea; and shall doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

POSITIVE CONFESSIONS
BARB AND KEVIN

Prophesy into your children's lives that they shall be for signs and wonders.
Pray that every promise of the Lord concerning Brock and all your children will not fall to the ground, but will be fulfilled.
Prophesy of their divine calling and ministry that they may accomplish God,s calling for them.
Command every broken wall of their lives to be restored.

POSITIVE CONFESSION
ISAIAH 54:13
I belive and confess that the children the Lord has given me are the heritage of the Lord. They are covered by the blood of the Son of God. I believe and confess taht the goodness of God is upon my household. The children he has given me are for signs and wonders. The grace of the Lord provides covering upon my children. No weapon formed against my household prospers. All things will work together to the glory of God and the favour of my family, because we are blessed and highly favoured.

A Song of Trust in God
Psalm 27
The Lord is my light and the one who saves Brock. I fear no one. The Lord protects my life. I am afraid of no one. Evil people may try to destroy my body. My enemies and those who hate me attack me. But they are overwhelmed and defeated. If an army surrounds me, I will not be afraid. If war breaks out, I will trust the Lord. I ask only one thing from the Lord. This is what I want: Let me live in the Lord's house all my life. Let me see the Lord's beauty. Amen

For the ones who aren't sure about the POWER of PRAYER and GOD'S HEALING POWER.....GOD'S WORD SAYS in Psalm 116

I love the Lord because he listens to my prayers for help. He paid attention to me. So I will call to him for help as long as I live. The ropes of death bound me. The fear of death took hold of me. I was troubled and sad. Then I called out the name of the Lord. I said, "Please, Lord, save Brock!" The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The LORD protects the simplehearted; when Brock was in great need, he saved him. Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you. For you, O Lord, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the LORD in the land of the living. Amen

Please Pray for Spiritual Warfare!
Negativity and Doubt are selfdestructive. God's word says:
James 1:6
But when you ask God, you must believe. Do not doubt God. Anyone who doubts is like a wave in the sea. The wind blows the wave up and down. He who doubts is thinking two different things at the same time. He cannot decide about anything he does. A person like that should not think that he will receive anything from the LORD.

One is from Isaiah 25, where it says: 'On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; 8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth.
The LORD has spoken. 9 In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.'

From those verses, I've prayed that God would be gracious and remove the shroud of cancer/death from Brock's body. I also prayed for God to comfort his family as many tears have been shed during this difficult time.

Another passage, Isaiah 40, talks about the greatness of our creator.
I have been praying a specific verse over Brock from this passage:
'Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.'

I believe God knows exactly where each cancer cell is in Brock's body just like he sets out the stars in the heavens. God can heal Brock of each and every cell that is causing him sickness. Our God is a great big God! He knows exactly what is going on inside his little body.

Kevin and Barb, take comfort in these words from God. He is gracious, compassionate, and loving! I am believing with you complete healing for your precious son!

During my time of prayer today, the song I was listening to said this: "there is none like You No one else can touch my heart like You do I could search for all eternity long And find There is none like you. Your mercy flows like a river wide And healing comes in YOUR NAME! Helpless children are SAFE in your arms And there is none like You. (shane & shane)

There is none like Him and it is such an honor to praise Him all day long and especially for Brock and everyone of you at this time. I just Love You all and feel God's arms around you...right now! LOVE Angie

"Praise God from whom all blessings flow...! " I've known this verse a long time, sang it as a child every Sunday. However, today, it overflows in my heart. .... just how much I do praise Him and adore Him and want to know Him more. I just listened to the beautiful song "Knowing you, Jesus, there is no greater joy." Kevin and Barbara, you are such an inspiration to us all. God has blessed you and Brock is healed.

Who do you believe? Do you believe the Word or your senses? Pay attention, my child, to what I say. Listen carefully. Do not lose sight of my words. Let them penetrate deep within your heart, for they bring life and radiant health to anyone who discovers their meaning. Proverbs 4:20-22

What is a Son ?

A son is a miracle with angel smiles to share, A sweet and lasting dream-come-true, a gently whispered prayer, A blessing to his family from heaven up above, A beautiful reminder of God's goodness and His Love.

In Matt. 24, Jesus says "my words will not pass away". We also know by memory..these words from the Lord....." you have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word." I believe He has performed His word in Brock. Praise the Lord! Brock is healed! Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever. We will NOT lose sight of His words. We will let them penetrate deep in our hearts, for they bring life and health. I am praising the Lord and thanking Him for an awesome day today as Brock is a clear sign of God's glory. You are all an inspiration to me daily as you depend totally on the Lord's strength and power and love and on His Word . Our God is an awesome God and He loves you more than we can imagine. Rest in Him today. I love you. mammaw

Kevin and Barbara, I get so encouraged by how strongly you stand on God's promises. I just read this scripture...."My children, listen to the Word of the Lord.....and thought of you and your amazing strength that comes from the Lord and His Word. You have cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. His Word is so powerful... it created the heavens and the earth. His Words are Spirit and they are life..Every word in the Bible is Truth! It is 'yea and Amen.It is the God-inspired, God breathed Word given to us for our admonition. Apply the blood of Jesus generously every day and know that His Word is ours to claim, and stand on every day that we live as a believer and child of God.
"My son, attend to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those that find them and health to their flesh." Prov 4:20-22
God bless you, Brock,Kevin, Barbara, Brianna, Keeley and Madison. I love you and want you to remember that so many people are praying for you every minute of every day.

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea
And rides upon the storm.

Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs
And works His sovereign will.

Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take;
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy and shall break
In blessings on your head.

Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.

His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.

Blind unbelief is sure to err
And scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.

-by William Cowper 1774
